WP 301 Redirects – Instantly Fix Your SEO Errors
July 28, 2021

One of the most common problems, when you try to market a WordPress site, is when you want to access some content and get a page not found error instead.

The WP 301 Redirects plugin makes sure that your visitors land on relevant content, even when the page no longer exists rather than giving your end-user a bad experience. If you have old, expired content or links, or typos in your URLs, you could be losing traffic, users, and conversions.

What Is WP 301 Redirects Plugin and how it can solve your SEO Errors?

WP 301 Redirects is a plugin that helps with some of the most critical SEO issues, including redirects and 404 errors. It only takes moments to set up and it works with any WordPress theme.

The plugin will replace a 404 error with a redirect to an existing page and show visitors the content they want to see.

What is a Redirect in WordPress or in general?

Using a redirect is a way to tell the web browser where the page they are looking for has been moved to, so they can automatically be taken there. Some common types of redirects:

  • 301 redirects.
  • 302 redirects.
  • 307 redirects

A 301 redirect tells the browser that we won’t be moving the page back to its original location and that it should instead load the page from the new location in the future.

When Do You Need a 301 Redirect in WordPress?

There are two situations when you need to create a 301 redirect: when you’re planning to delete a post or page in favor of new content when you’re planning to change the permalinks of your post or page.
